The Harvard Avenue Christian Church Youth Group is comprised of two smaller groups. CYF
is the older group which is for youth in grades nine through twelve. The other group named
Chi Rho, is the Youth group for 6th to eighth grade. Though both programs are technically
separate, the two groups constantly interact and participate in activities and missions
together as Disciples of Christ.

Mid-Week Activities are held on Wednesday evenings at
6:00 p.m. and led by Colt Stubblefield. A great way to keep
in touch in the middle of the week. The group meets for fun
activities and a little Bible study.

At 7:15 p.m. on Thursdays many of our girls join Youth
Choir Director Susie Daugherty for the HACC Girls
Vocal Ensemble. Then often on Sunday
mornings, HGVE presents a musical offering for
the Worship service.
Youth & Adult Mission
Trip to New Orleans to
help with Hurricane
Katrina projects.
The HACC Youth have several retreats a year,
a skiing trip in the winter, and summer mission
trips around the country for both the CYF and
Chi Rho groups. This summer the group went
to San Diego for the International Christian
Youth Fellowship Conference,
combined with a mission trip and they just
got back from a spelunking/
camping trip to Arkansas.

Visitors and friends are always
welcome to any event.

Paintballing
This Saturday, November 15th we are having our
fall paintballing trip. We will be meeting at the
church at 8:15am and driving to Paint Ball Land,
just a little north of Owasso. We will then run
around in the woods and shoot paintballs at each
other for several hrs. The cost of the will be $4 for
equipment rentals and $4 per 100 paintballs,
around $16 - $24 for the day, depending on how
much you shoot. If you are planning on coming,
before we go you need to go online to
www.paintballland.com and print and fill out the
waiver. These trips are always fun and as always
everyone is invited, youth or not, hope to see you
Saturday, if you have any questions let me know.
