Referencing the Bible |
For a quick way to find scripture passages without a Bible at hand, you can visit these sites online at www.biblegateway.com and http://bible.oremus.org. You can then type in the chapters and verses if you know them or put in a word or phrase to help you locate the passage you are seeking. |
Walk to Emmaus |
Many of the members of HACC have found a way to move forward in their spiritual journey by attending the Green Country Walk to Emmaus. The Walk to Emmaus is a 72 hour event which enables people to get away for a weekend for special talks from laity and clergy, music, lively table discussions, and meaningful worship experiences. The walks are open to all adults. Men and women's walks are on separate weekends. The Walk to Emmaus is an ecumenical organization for building church leadership and the Body of Christ. The Green Country community is chartered through The Upper Room. For more information about this inspiring weekend, you may go to: |
