St. Andrew’s Cross is the symbol for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The chalice highlights the importance of communion for our church. St. Andrew’s cross is a cross tilted as if it is being carried. This reminds us of Jesus’ command that each of us is to: “Take up His cross and follow me.” |
